This is a hard email to write. The community of romance readers and writers, collectively called Romancelandia, is banding together today because two of our own authors are facing the unimaginable.
Author Claire Kingsley's husband was her confidante, soulmate, and business partner. He suffered a series of blood clots in his brain and strokes this week, and then he was suddenly gone. He leaves behind Claire and three teenage children. Claire Kingsley needs our help this week. If you haven't given Claire's books a try, I urge you to pick up one and read.

NEW BOOK IN SERIES: http://mybook.to/ChasingHerFire5
The first book in her series is called Protecting You, and the book that just came out this week is called Chasing Her Fire. I hope you'll give one of them a try.
In addition, another one of our own authors, Lacey Silks, is raising money because her best friend was just diagnosed with stage IV brain cancer. We all know that stage IV is not a good stage, and the family is going to need money for treatment and survival. Because Lacey is just a lovely human being, she is having a fundraiser. I hope you give one of her books a try, too.
Many of my readers are already familiar with Lacey's books because we've done several series together, like the Friends with Benefits series a few years ago, where The Rock Star's Secret Baby (Cadell) was first published. She's a very good author, and I enjoy her books. If you pick up one of her books right now, all the money will go to help the family in need.
