That’s what people who play 4 The Words are called: Dust Warriors.
4 The Words is an online app that gamifies the writing process for authors. When words are written, they can either be written directly into the app OR you can copy-paste words written in another program into the app. Gamifying writing is fun. I’ve found it very helpful in my process.
The main tactics you want to use to maximize your effectiveness are:
- Battle/defeat monsters (by writing words) to complete quests,
- Complete and “deliver” main/mandatory quests (Top right > Command Center > Quests > Top quest is your current main quest) to open up new sections of “Our Valley”,
- Double-dip the effectiveness of your writing by using repeatable quests found in Luciola Forest > Quests > Global Quests to obtain more loot,
- Use loot and coins to craft better weapons, which increase the “damage” that writing words do to monsters. For example, with better weapons equipped to your character, you might type 100 words, but those might count as 125 words toward the battle. This allows you to defeat more monsters per day, multiplying the effectiveness of your writing.
